Sunny Side Up or Over Easy

Each morning someone at my house needs to drive my son to school.  A few years back a school levy didn't pass so they took away the busing at the high school.  Then when the levy did pass, they didn't add it back so it's a pain because us and five thousand other people (this is an exaggeration) are trying to drop their kids off at the same time.  Seniors, if they choose to do so, are able to drive and have a guaranteed parking spot.  If there are any spots left, they offer them next to the Juniors and then to the Sophomores and so on so my son's chance of getting a parking spot as a Freshman are very limited.  Besides the fact he doesn't have a license and WILL NOT have a license until he achieves a B (or better) GPA.  You would think this would be enough to motivate him but no, it doesn't seem to be.

This morning we woke him up extra early so we could take him to breakfast before school.  As a kid, wouldn't you love that?  A nice hot breakfast from a restaurant before you went to school?  Bacon, eggs and toast made just the way you like them?  Pancakes stacked sky high with syrup and butter?  Crepes with your choice of fruit topping?   You would think this would be enough to motivate him but no, it doesn't seem to be.

So my husband and I went without him.  Ha!  Two eggs, over easy, wheat toast with butter and a turkey sausage link was just what the doctor ordered.

Enjoy your day.  Hope it's over easy :)
